Support for AFK Pozharnikarite – Teteven and the development of football and the local sporting community in Teteven.
AFK Pozharnikarite is a team from Teteven that has become part of the local football community and has participated in and achieved success at small-sided football tournaments.
In 2020, AFK Pozharnikarite – Teteven won the Teteven Ritha small-sided football tournament, organised by the Teteven Regional Fire Service and BAMF – Troyan with financial support from Teteven Municipality. Six teams took part in the tournament.
The team has also achieved success at national level – in 2020, Pozharnikarite finished third at the Bankya Ritha tournament and won bronze medals. According to a Teteven News report, the team is made up of players from the region.
AFK Pozharnikarite is also part of the development of small-sided football in Teteven. In 2022, the team took part in the opening of the new season of the city's small-sided football league.
Our support is aimed at developing sport and creating more opportunities for people in the local community to actively participate in football.
